Gavin Cooper is an expert in human-centered design and strategy. He has created industry-leading digital experiences at multinational corporations and start-ups alike and is passionate about driving innovation and business growth through design.

As Senior Manger of Product Strategy at The Vanguard Group, Gavin takes a strategic approach to research, design and leadership. He leverages design thinking and multidisciplinary teams to create Vanguard’s competitive advantages. Gavin led the organization’s 2+ year digital transformation initiative and has helped redefine the UX strategy role across the organization. Prior to joining Vanguard, Gavin co-founded of two different design agencies where he focused on visual and digital design. He was also a faculty member at two Philadelphia-based universities.

Gavin has been recognized for his design work and leadership with numerous industry awards and magazine features, including AIGA: Philadelphia Design Awards. He’s also been a speaker, panelist and competition judge at design-centered events. Gavin holds a BS in Graphic Design Communication from Jefferson University and an MFA in Interactive & Graphic Design from Temple University.
